This is the partner course to the Complete Unreal C++ Developer, one of the most popular Unreal courses on the web.
In this course you'll learn how to make games without writing traditional code, by using Unreal Engine 4 and it's powerful visual coding system known as Blueprints. We'll start this course at a beginners pace so you'll need no prior experience or knowledge of Unreal or game development.
In the first section you'll go from not even having Unreal installed to making your first game: Marble Run! In fact, once you become more confident, you'll be able to make Marble Run in less that 15 minutes! That's how easy and powerful Unreal Blueprint is.
In the next section you'll build your second game, Crystal Cavern. You'll develope your own levels by editing geometry and using Unreal's powerful lighting system. You'll populate your levels with actors you've fully coded yourself through blueprints such as: pickups, cannons, projectiles & more!
By the end of this course you'll have the fundamental skills to create your own games with Unreal.
For each game project in the course, you will be:
- Guided through to build the entire game yourself.
- Shown all the Unreal and Blueprint features required.
- Challenged to apply, and re-apply your knowledge regularly.
Prefer to focus on C++? Check-out our Unreal Engine C++ Developer course. All our courses cover different projects, and work together perfectly.
You will get full lifetime access for a single one-off fee. And have access to our world-class community forum where you can discuss topics on a course-wide basis, or down to the individual video. Our discussion forum will help you learn and share ideas with other students.
We constantly improve our courses in response to user feedback.
What you'll learn on this course:
- Create simple complete games to share with friends
- Develop using the Unreal Engine 4 editor
- Learn to program using Blueprints, without needing to write code
- Create and package playable game projects
- Model basic levels in BSP
- Understand how to use the Unreal Editor interfac

Camran Gibson
"I have intermediate c# skills and have worked with blueprints before in college for maybe a month or 2. This course is very easy to understand and is a blast to get through. The way it is built makes me not want to stop going on to the next lesson. You don't need any experience, however it will help you understand the "behind the scenes logic" behind the blueprints. I can't wait for the continued lessons in Mars Marine and whatever else may lie ahead. Thanks for a great time!"
Anderson Jerome
"The course does a good job in introducing us some useful fundamentals and some good scripting practices. Instructions are mostly clear and concise. The course also finds the right moment to challenge or reinforce certain part of the lectures."
Rogor Light
"Outstanding course & highly recommended on anyone's desired path to becoming competent with UE4. Your coding skills are built up progressively thru the program which helps to gain confidence, in what feels like an otherwise overwhelming platform at times. Look for other courses by these instructors!"
Roy Challans
"Very good course. Really clear and concise. Really well paced. My first introduction to 'no-code' programming - amazing how much you can achieve with so little coding."
Victor Dupuy
"Excellent course. It tackles a lot of problematics you'll face when creating your own games, little by little. It's structured as a series of small challenges making. Brilliant, really."
